Lebanon Invites Public to ‘Coffee With a Cop’

Lebanon — The public is invited to meet officers from the Lebanon Police Department during “Coffee With a Cop,” a program designed to bring the public and police together for informal conversation in a neutral space.

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 24, at 8 a.m. at The Fort, at 151 Heater Road, Lebanon.

“Coffee With a Cop” is a national program promoted by The United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. It is meant to bring officers and community members together in a relaxed setting outside the emergency situations where most people encounter police officers.
