The current 6-foot construction must be replaced with a 16-foot culvert in order to meet state law, which is why the project is expected to take three weeks. Residents who live uphill from the culvert, located slightly uphill from Spruce Way, will need to travel through Bridgewater to come and go from their homes.
The Bridgewater Fire Department and the Bridgewater Fast Squad will be available for first response for emergency calls in the neighborhood while the road is closed.
