Trenton, n.j. — Cavan Biggio hit a three-run home run in the second inning, and Harold Ramirez homered and had two hits as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats beat the Trenton Thunder, 4-1, on Tuesday in the Eastern League.

The home run by Biggio capped a four-run inning and gave the Fisher Cats a 4-0 lead after Ramirez hit a solo home run earlier in the inning.

Following the big inning, the Thunder cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when Trey Amburgey hit a solo home run.

New Hampshire right-hander Josh DeGraaf (3-4) picked up the win after allowing one run on six hits over 5⅓ innings.

Opposing starter Brian Keller (6-6) took the loss in the Eastern League game after he allowed four runs on just five hits over seven innings. Andrew Case retired the side in order for his sixth save of the season.

For the Thunder, Amburgey homered and singled twice.
