Lebanon, N.H. — Charles Baron Glazer, 61, of Forest Ave., Lebanon passed away suddenly at his home on July 1, 2018. He is mourned by his three children: Shannon Ackley Glazer, Adrienne Glazer Salvagni, Christopher Ackley Glazer; his two grandchildren Scott and Morgan; his former wife Deborah Glazer; and his partner of 18 years, Alexandra (Cookie) Barcus.

The entire Lebanon community knew Charlie, and loved him for his wit, his humor under fire, and his refusal to ever get angry with anyone. His friends on the Lebanon City Council, his friends from a number of musical bands with whom he played keyboards and sang, including the Screwtops and the Rhythm Junkies; the Parish Players, with whom he acted for years, and the Hanover High School Drama Society, for whom he directed many plays, will all miss him sorely.

He was very proud of his recent move, serving as Marketing Director for the Assisted Living Organization The Village in White River Junction. He had worked in a similar capacity during the formative years of Northern Stage. He will also be remembered by readers of “The Journal Opinion” as an editor, and as weekly writer of the humorous column “News You Can’t Use”.

Calling Hours and a Remembrance Hour will be held on July 5 at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively at the Ricker Funeral Home on School Street in Lebanon.
