White River Junction — Todd and Marcy Schaal, of White River Junction, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jordan Lynn Schaal, to Parker James Robinson, of Piermont.

The bride-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Hartford High School. She also earned an associate’s degree in occupational studies in baking and pastry arts from The New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier. She is employed in the reception department at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She also is the granddaughter of Peter and Gail Schaal, of White River Junction, and the late John and Lucille Barber, of Windsor.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of James and Lisa Robinson of Piermont. He graduated from Hartford High School in 2013. He earned an associate’s degree in mechanical engineering from Vermont Technical Center in Randolph. He works in the engineering department of Integrity Industrial Ink Jet Integration in West Lebanon. He also is the grandson of Carl and Ellen Swasey, of White River Junction, and Arthur and Rochelle Robinson, of Zephyrhills, Fla.

The couple is planning a May 2019 wedding at the bride-to-be’s grandparent’s home in White River Junction.
