Claremont, N.H. — Leonard Monroe, 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his home. He was born on March 11, 1946, in Allentown, Pa. Lenny was adopted by his loving parents Pete and Louise who predeceased him. He always said I was picked.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965. He was a past member of the Claremont Country Club, Moose Club, Elks Club, and the Lions Club. He worked at Pratt and Whitney in Conn., Joy Manufacturing, and CSI.

Lenny loved to hunt, fish, play golf, and drive his tractor. He always had a story to tell and had a great sense of humor.

He leaves behind his wife, Deborah Monroe; daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Chris Maneri of Manchester, Conn.; two granddaughters, Madison and Samantha who were the loves of his life; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and his feline babies, Kallie and Katie; as well as many friends.

A celebration of life will be held on June 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Claremont Country Club.
