“Today we are closing for good at 4 o’clock, 75% off everything that is left,” the store said in the post on Friday. “Thank you to all the friends we have made. You will be missed. I will sell all equipment and fixtures as a package to anyone that wants to negotiate a lease with the landlord to open a store here. Thank you again.”
The stock on the shelves has been decreasing for weeks, prompting city councilors to discuss it at a meeting last week.
Lebanon Mayor Sue Prentiss also previously asked the city’s administration to work with the Lebanon Housing Authority — which manages the nearby Rogers House — to determine a plan for seniors who shop at the store.
