Kevin R. Hicks, of Meriden Road, faces several charges and is slated to be arraigned today in Grafton Superior Court in North Haverhill, according to a police news release.
Police received a call around 3:40 a.m. from the 26-year-old woman, who said Hicks was armed and made threats to shoot himself and her mother.
Hicks’ girlfriend locked herself in the bathroom, while the daughter, who lives at the residence, fled the home. Hicks allegedly ran after her, firing a shotgun round into the air, the release said.
His girlfriend successfully wrestled a handgun away from Hicks, prior to him picking up the shotgun, the release said.
No one was injured.
Police said Hicks had been drinking and got into an argument with his girlfriend.
