Woodstock — The Woodstock Economic Development Committee and consultant firm DuBois & King Inc., will be gathering input from the public on a revitalization project for downtown on Wednesday. Members of the public are invited to share their insight beginning at the Woodstock Farmers Market on the Green from 3-6 p.m., and then indoors at 6 Central St. (formerly Procopio) from 6:30-8 p.m.

The format will be an open house, during which people can have informal one-on-one discussions with the committee members and consultants about which parts of the streetscape work well and what needs revitalization.

The committee and the consulting firm are working to develop a comprehensive map and concept plan that will help revitalize the Village of Woodstock’s streetscape and have positive impacts within and beyond the commercial district. The project aims to highlight existing features that make Woodstock unique, while identifying elements that can create greater unity within the commercial district.
