Ocala, Fla. —
Renie graduated from Windsor High School, Windsor, Vt. in 1962 and graduated from Beauty Culture School of Portland, Maine in 1963.
Renie accomplished many wonderful things during her lifetime. For over 30 years she worked on Main Street in Hanover, N.H. for the following businesses: Art Bennett’s, Hillwinds, and the Dartmouth Bookstore.
Renie dedicated her life to helping her community and others around her. Along with her husband, Harold, they started the Upper Valley Chapter of Tough Love. She was a member of the Kiwanis Club. She was a bookkeeper at the First Baptist Church of Lebanon, where she was baptized. She refurbished 275 dolls since 2014. A good portion of those dolls went to Avanti’s. She knitted for Nora’s Bears, donated bears to the Sheriff’s Department, and provided stuffed animals to David’s House. She filled backpacks with school supplies and made Christmas stockings for the homeless children of Ocala. She was an Honorary Life Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ocala where she was an active member of “We Care” and the women’s Circle 1.
For fun she loved to dress up in a clown suit with her friend Marguerite Faulkner. They would perform for church events, birthday parties and other special events. One of her favorite things to do was to spend the summers camping and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Harold; four children: Jeffrey S. Clark (Deborah) of Manchester, N.H., Chris A. Clark (Cathy) of Lebanon, Sue B. Demers of White River Junction, Vt., and Terri L. Batchelder (Brian) of White River Junction; seven grandchildren: Samantha (Michael), Zachary, Victoria, Emma, Scottie, William, and Macin; four great grandchildren: Lilliann, Aubrey, Cayden, and Mason. She is also survived by a special daughter, Traci Ladue of Lebanon; a sister Marilyn L.
