Fukushima allowed only three hits and two walks in the complete-game effort to help improve the Raptors to 4-4. He was also 1-for-1 at the plate with a run scored.
Rivendell scored a run in the first inning and another in the sixth for the victory. Charlie Bradley finished the game 1-for-2 with an RBI, driving in sophomore Dylan Ricker from third base in the first inning. Raptors junior Zach Dexter later drove in Fukushima from third base in the sixth inning on a deep fly ball into center field.
The victory snaps a three-game losing streak for the Raptors, who fell to Chelsea, 1-0, on the road last Saturday. Rivendell travels to Williamstown on Saturday.

Newport racked up 13 hits and nine runs in the first four innings. Fish led the way offensively, going 4-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI. Jarred Meyette and Tony Robinson finished the game with two RBIs each. The Tigers (8-4), who have won three in a row, travel to Fall Mountain today.
Mascoma scored both of its runs in the fifth inning. Devin Tetreault was 1-for-3 with an RBI double. The Royals (2-9) travel to Raymond today.

Stithen allowed four hits with one walk to warn the win. Drew Grenier and Trey Theriault eac hhad three hits and three RBIs for Stevens, while teammates Ethan Johnson, Alex Taylor, Derrick Stanhope and Tyler Bonneau added two hits apiece. Stanhope scored three runs, and Johnson, Bonneau and Aiden Cahill scored two each.

Oxbow’s Boys, Girls Take Third

Rock, a junior, won the 100, 200, long jump and triple jump — setting a new school record in the triple with a jump of 40 feet, 10.75 inches. Giesing, a senior, finished first in the 200, 400 and long jump for the girls. Oxbow’s boys and girls teams placed third in scoring.
For the boys, Timothy Hodges won the 110 hurdles (16.75), and placed second in the 300 hurdles (43.90) and the triple jump (39-10). Calvin Cook also won the discus (106-4.5) and took second in the shot put (39-7.5).
For the girls, O’s freshman Kelly Daigle won the discus (99-1), was second in the shot put (29-0.5) and placed third in the javelin (80-6). Emily Carson also won the high jump (4-10).
Dartmouth Sending 15 To NCAA East Regional

Big Green sophomore star Cha’Mia Rothwell lead the women with a qualification in a pair of events, the 100-meter hurdles and the long jump. Rothwell’s season was highlighted by winning the Ivy League title in the 100m hurdles in a school and Ivy League record 13.24 seconds. Lauren Sapone and Julia Stevenson qualified for the 3,000, Bridget Flynn qualified for the 1,500, Julia Valenti will compete in the pole vault and Maria Garman and Olivia Winer will make the trip for high jump and javelin, respectively.
For Rothwell and Valenti, this marks their second NCAA East Regional appearance in as many years.
For the men, Dartmouth trio Max Frye, Alec Eschholz and Parker Johnson all qualified for the 400 hurdles. Henry Raymond will run in the 1,500 and Tim Zepf will compete in the 800. Marco Pompilj also qualified for the 3,000. Away from the track, Colin Minor qualified for the hammer throw and Ben Colello will compete in the javelin throw after a strong showing at the Ivy Heps two weeks ago.
Additionally, Ben Ose will compete in the 2018 NCAA Championship Meet in Oregon as one of the competitors in the decathlon.
Duernberger Named Dartmouth Assistant
Hanover
Duernberger worked with Penn State’s men’s soccer program for the last seven years and was promoted to associate head coach in 2016.
He helped lead the team to back-to-back Big Ten regular season titles and coached them to two NCAA Tournament appearances.
Prior to his time at Penn State, Duernberger spent three seasons as the head coach at the University of Charleston, a Division II program.
