Free Workshop Will Address Living With Chronic Diseases

East Corinth — A free six-week workshop taking place in East Corinth will teach people how to manage the stress, pain and frustration of living with chronic disease. Chronic Disease Self-Management will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesdays from June 5 through July 10 at the Blake Memorial Library, 676 Village Road, East Corinth.

The workshop, which was developed by Stanford University, is open to family members, caretakers and individuals living chronic conditions including (but not limited to) arthritis, diabetes, asthma, heart disease, chronic pain or chronic stress. It will cover topics including communicating with health care providers, evaluating new treatment options and talking with loved ones about the condition.
