Grafton County Hosts Farm and Forestry Day

North Haverhill — Members of the public are invited to visit Grafton County Farm, which has a dairy operation, grows produce and raises a host of other farm animals, during Farm and Forestry Day, taking place on Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the County Farm, 3855 Dartmouth College Highway, in North Haverhill.

The event is dedicated to Grafton County Farm Manager Donnie Kimball, who will be retiring this year after 37 years of working on the farm. During Farm and Forestry Day, members of the public can learn about farm operations, including recreational opportunities on its 700 acres, the scientific breeding program and the history of the farm. Tours of the farm facilities and land will also take place.

The event is free. A barbecue will be held for $1 per person, with proceeds to benefit the Grafton County 4-H Leaders’ Association. For more information visit the county website at www.co.grafton.nh.us or call 603-787-6941.
