Lyme Nursery School Fundraiser Focused on Effective Communication With Kids

Lyme — Lyme Nursery School will be hosting a discussion led by Megg Thompson, a child education specialist, at Dowd’s Country Inn, 9 Main St., Lyme, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on April 7.

As part of a fundraiser for the school, Thompson will discuss how parents and professionals can better respond to challenging behavior from kids. She will present four tips to ensure that adults are communicating effectively with children.

Thompson has a master’s degree in early childhood education, and is a certified behavior consultant and a family coach at the Fitzgerald Institute. Educators can get continuing education credits by attending the event.
