Wake Forest, N.C. —
After graduating high school from Mount Saint Mary’s in Burlington, Vt., Maureen attended Junior College in Orlando, Fla. before returning to the Upper Valley to marry Tom.
After raising her family, Maureen embarked on a second career as a travel agent working for Classic Travel and Milne Travel for over 30 years. She thoroughly enjoyed making travel arrangements for her friends and traveling frequently with the Poolers and Cooks. She and Tom were her best customers. Maureen was the long time secretary of the West Lebanon Youth Hockey Association taking care of the behind the scenes business of the association. Maureen was a longtime member of the Alice Peck Day Auxiliary.
Maureen is survived by her sister Peggy Patch (David); daughters Nicole Whitcomb (Michael) of Hanover, Bridgette Armstrong (Paul) of Wake Forest; a son Greg Gosselin (Candace) of Woodstock, Vt.; granddaughters Abby, Anna and Zoe and a grandson Max.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon on Friday at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow at Salt Hill Pub in Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kimball Union Academy, PO Box 188, Meriden, NH 03770.
