The board is considering how to address updates to the plan, a document that describes the community’s vision for its future, amid controversy over some residents’ concerns about over development. The Selectboard has held one public hearing in two parts, and these meetings will feature “breakout” sessions on more specific topics.
Today’s meeting, scheduled for 3 p.m. at Tracy Hall, will focus on how the plan addresses housing, including the matter of potential affordable housing development along Route 5 South, according to its agenda. Tuesday’s meeting will take place at 7 p.m. and will address, among other things, land use as it relates to the same area of town.
