Glendora, Calif. — Paul William Sheldon of Glendora, Calif. passed away on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at the San Dimas Community Hospital from complications of kidney failure.

Paul was born on April 12, 1950, in Lebanon, N.H. to Osmer and Arline (Gobeille) Sheldon. He is survived by his wife, Beth Sheldon of 15 years whom resides in Glendora Calif.; two sisters, Marcia Cockburn of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and Maureen Sheldon of Etna, N.H.; a brother, Peter Sheldon and wife, Patricia of White River Jct., Vt.; four nieces, Sandra Fucci, and Donna Davis both from White River Jct., Karen Ward of Milton, Vt., and Jennifer Sheldon Parker of Jacksonville, Fla.; two nephews, Gregory Sheldon of Windsor, Vt. and Tenzing Sheldon Rumrill of Etna, N.H.; several great nieces and nephews; three cousins; Glenn Gobeille, Frederick Gobeille and Judith (Gobeille) Callens. Paul graduated from Hartford High School in White River Jct., Vt. in 1969 and served our country in the United States Navy between 1969 and 1973 aboard the USS Fiske. He worked for the City of Glendora Police Department for 30 years as the facilities manager. He was also very active in many civic groups. Paul and his wife attended Christ Community Church in West Covina, Calif. for 14 years.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 2, 2018, at the West Covina Church.

A celebration of life will take place in the Spring in White River Jct. More details will be published in the Valley News at that time.
