Hanover Bantams Split
Lowell, Mass.
The Wild piled up the offense against the Edge despite recording just 20 shots on goal. Casey Graham and Hank Trimble both scored twice for Hanover, while Ben Wagner and Curtis Rice also dented the net. Cole Guildenzoph set up both of Graham’s goals. Rice, Alex Rockmore, John Hill and Griffin Auch also had assists. Goalie Luke Ives made 12 saves for the win.
Hanover’s good fortune didn’t continue into Sunday’s Union Arena home game with third-ranked Lakes Region. Despite outshooting the visitors, 26-18, all the Wild could manage was an Auch goal, set up by Graham and Rice, in a 4-1 loss.
Hanover is 5-5-0 on the season.
