Rochester, Vt.
In voting on Tuesday, residents agreed to close the middle- and high-school portion of Rochester School and tuition out students in grades seven to 12.
Stockbridge already tuitions out its students after they finish the pre-K through sixth-grade Stockbridge Central School.
The vote in Rochester on Tuesday was 291-11; voters approved the merger in Stockbridge, 96-49.
Both towns are part of the White River Valley Supervisory Union.
