Tunbridge, Vt. —
Paul was born on Aug. 6, 1948 in Lynn, Mass. the son of Chester and Rosina (Scabelli) Rivers.
Paul graduated from Bishop Fenwick School in Peabody, Mass. in 1966. He went on to graduate from the Berkley School of Music in Boston Mass. He was an avid musician playing in a number of bands and cutting an album with both Teddy and the Panda’s as well as Doctor Feel Good.
A dedicated Healthcare worker, Paul spent many years employed by the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, Mass. before opening a successful group home in Peabody, Mass. Paul retired in 2000 and moved to Tunbridge, Vt.
He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle rides and music.
Paul is survived by his son, Keith Rivers and his wife, Heidi and their son, Jack from Beverly, Mass. Paul’s son, Ian Rivers and his daughter, Kayla from Beverly, Mass. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a sister, Judith.
