Paxton, Mass. — Daniel Nelson Dutile, 57, passed away in his home on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017. He was born in Hanover, N.H. on Aug. 2, 1960, to Nelson Paul Dutile and Celia Margaret Dutile-Coffrin (McHugh). He graduated from Lebanon High School and went onto study IT at Claremont Technical School. Dan moved to California and worked for Data General for several years and then moved to Massachusetts to work for Hanson Data. Finally he worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at UMass Memorial Healthcare.

Dan was an avid Patriots fan, loved to ski, and his passion was fishing at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. He always looked forward to playing with his extended grandchildren Owen and AJ.

His father Nelson Dutile predeceased Dan, as well as his stepfather John Coffrin. Dan is survived by his mother Cecilia Dutile-Coffrin and his brother Timothy Dutile and acted as their caregiver, and also survived by his Uncle Jim Bliss and wife Myra of Wisconsin, plus his longtime companion Lynn Howard of Paxton and her daughters Ellen Howard and Kelly Howard-Ferris.

Please join us for a visitation at 2 p.m. and a service at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23 at Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory, 56 School Street, Lebanon, NH 03766. Immediately following the service, a celebration of Dan’s life will be held at Salt Hill Pub, 2 W. Park St. Lebanon, NH 03766.
