Born Aug. 22, 1945 to the late Richard and Elizabeth (Griswold) Abbott in Hanover N.H.
Ellen graduated from Hanover High School in the class of 1963. Following graduation, she married Guy Daniels on Aug. 31, 1963 in the Etna Baptist Church. Together they had two children Scott and Doug Daniels. Throughout her working carrier Ellen worked for the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and was the director of the welfare facility in Lebanon for a period of time. In her free time, she enjoyed Bowling and golfing, but most of all spending time with her family.
She is pre- deceased by her parents Richard Abbott and Elizabeth (Griswold) Abbott, and brother Richard Abbott.
She is survived by her husband Guy Daniels of Plainfield, N.H.; Sons Scott Daniels and wife Kathleen of Dover, N.H.; Doug Daniels and Jamie LaDouceur of Hartland, Vt.; brother Cliff Abbott and wife Pat of Houma, Louisiana; sister Cheryl Turner of Morristown, Vt.; and three grandchildren Sarah Kathleen Daniels, Aaron Scott Daniels and Cole Alan Daniels, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be celebrated Monday Oct. 2, 2017 at the Etna Baptist Church beginning at 10 a.m.
