Barre, Vt. —
He was born Oct. 14, 1967, in Lebanon, N.H. a son of Robert N. and Marie (Grace) Stone. David attended school in Lebanon before beginning work as a cook at local restaurants. He later moved to Barre and began working at a wrecking yard in Middlesex and most recently at Village Cannery in Barre.
David enjoyed fishing, auto racing and watching professional wrestling.
He was predeceased by his father in 2008 and is survived by his mother Marie Stone of Hartford, Vt.; daughter, Jessica Stone of Barre; sons, David “DJ” Stone of Williamstown, Vt., and Levi Stone of Barre; granddaughter, Olivia Laird of Barre; and a brother, Wayne Stone of Hartford. David is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., on Friday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with burial in the Hartford Cemetery.
