Thetford — Vermont State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating three teenage boys after they walked away from an overnight camping trip in Thetford and may now be driving a stolen vehicle that was last spotted in Burlington.

Police said the teens are members of a short-term residential program in Pike, N.H., and were on an overnight trip on Sunday at the Roaring Brook campsite in Thetford. They were discovered missing Monday morning.

Liam MacKod, 16, Kyle Casey, 17, and Killian O’Reilly, 17, were wearing neon yellow shirts, “zip off” hiking pants and crocs, according to a news release from Vermont State Police.

A Vermont Missing Persons report, which is overseen by state police, said the threesome may be riding in a 1996 Subaru Impreza which was last seen in Burlington on Monday.

Foul play is not suspected, “but there are concerns for the boys’ welfare,” the report stated.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Vermont State Police at 802-748-3111.
