Lebanon, N.H. — George Maurice Heath, 93, a long time Lebanon resident, passed away at Presidential Oak’s in Concord, N.H. on Sunday, July 30, 2017. He was married to Muriel Greene in 1947. George retired after 45 years of dedicated service to the central office at New England Telephone. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

George is survived by his two children, James Heath of Concord, Elaine McGrath of Sarasota, Fla.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was predeceased by his wife, Muriel and a brother, Wallace Heath.

Family and friends are invited to the Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, for George’s calling hours from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A funeral will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon.
