Canaan, N.H. —
He leaves behind his father Jonathan Dowd of Grantham, N.H. and Englewood, Fla.; his maternal grandmother Dorothy Brown of Lecanto, Fla.; a brother Jonathan of Biddeford, Maine, a brother Hayden of Fla.; also sisters Stephanie Seaver of Biddeford, Maine, Sherise Simpson and her husband Everett of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Sasha Longmore and her husband Ralph of Waterloo, Maine, and Julia of Port Charlotte, Fla.; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Lucas’s life was just starting with his girlfriend of two years, Gabriella Salinas. Together they worked in the restaurant business first in Florida then in N.H. Most recently Lucas was employed at Mickey’s Restaurant in Enfield and Dartmouth College.
His passing has left a huge void in our hearts and he will be sorely missed, especially his infectious laugh. His family came together on July 3rd to say goodbye. Burial will be private.
To blame you, Lucas, for this horrible thing would be cursing the forest for its fire. We know that leaving so many broken hearts behind was never your goal; nonetheless they’re broken. So go now, and be at peace and if you can, put in a good word for us.
