Charlestown — It took about 15 minutes for voters to pass one article ratifying the appropriations approved by residents at Town Meeting on March 14.

The special meeting held on Wednesday night in the community room drew 67 voters, who passed the article unanimously by voice vote, Town Administrator Dave Edkins said. Among appropriations that had to be ratified were the budget and money for capital reserve funds.

The state Department of Revenue Administration ordered the meeting because the town posted its warrant for the March 14 meeting a day later than was required by law.
