Randolph, Vt. — David Howard Gay, 76, died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Joslyn House, in Randolph, surrounded by loving friends. David was born in Dover, N.H. to Donald and Myrtle Gay.

From 1989 to 2005 David was artistic director of Revels North, creating large-scale community performances for winter and spring that mingled music, dance and theater in magical alchemy. He had a talent for bringing out the best in each of his cast members to work together and make beautiful art.

He was also a member of the touring group Green Mountain Crossing and played keyboards and harp with the trio Filigree Deep. Throughout this history David was a respected voice therapist, performance coach and singing teacher, as well as a sought-after reader of Tarot.
