Buffy, adoptable from Lost My Way Animal Shelter
This is Buffy. She is a boxer mix estimated to be 1.5 to 2 years old. She loves to play ball and go for long walks. She gets along with other dogs and cats, and she loves kids. She does like to chase goats, so we recommend supervision with them.
Buffy is up for adoption from Lost My Way Animal Shelter in Claremont. Email Cathy Sullivan at cath3sullivan@yahoo.com or visit their Facebook page.

Crosby and Tamara, adoptable from Sullivay County Humane Society
“We are 5-year-old Crosby and 6-year-old Tamara! Our mom decided she had too many cats so was going to make us barn cats — but she did not have a barn. So, we ended up here instead — which we much prefer.
“We are sweeties but Tamara can be a little grumpy at times. She is on a diet so her grumpiness is understandable. Crosby was very matted so he had to get a lion cut.
“We are vet checked, neutered/spayed, treated for fleas and worms, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. And Tamara got her teeth cleaned, too.”
Crosby and Tamara are up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.

Amelie, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society
Amelie is a 1-year-old American rabbit. She is sweet, gentle and very social. She likes to spend time with people. In fact, she seeks out attention and will snuggle up next to you for petting and love.
Amelie is a cuddly bunny and would be great for a first time rabbit owner. She is neat and litter box trained. Come in and let this girl steal your heart!
Amelie is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.

Rambo, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society
“Hi! My name’s Rambo and I’m a 1-year-old neutered male retriever mix. I was adopted from Lucy Mackenzie as a puppy and recently returned. There were lots of changes in the household, which made taking care of me very difficult for my humans.
“Since I’ve been back here, I’ve been working on my health and fitness. My diet has been modified, since the vet suspects I have food allergies, and we’ve cut back on the amount I eat. We’re attempting to trim my waistline, too!
“I could possibly be OK living with another dog, as long as it was a proper match, but I cannot live with cats. I’m a very joyful dog that really wants a family to call my own. If you’ve been looking for a deserving, sweet dog to adopt, stop in and meet me today.”
Rambo is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.

Harpo, adoptable from Potter’s Angels Rescue
Harpo is a gorgeous, intelligent herding mix dog who is great with other dogs, cats, and people. He’s a 3-year-old, 55-pound fellow who is house trained and crate trained.
Harpo is really looking for a foster home or a forever home, and we’d love to find him one. He’s living with youngsters right now, and they are just too small for his big personality!
Harpo is up for adoption from Potter’s Angels Rescue, based in East Randolph. Submit an application here. Potter’s Angels is also on Facebook.
