Patty obtained a degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Pa. She had a lifelong love of weaving, spinning, sewing and a culinary passion. For many years she was a caretaker of a handicapped person who she greatly loved. Patty loved the years she spent as a field assistant on numerous botanical explorations to remote areas of the western United States. Her remains will be returned to Jackson, Wyo. and placed on the mountain where she was married. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Hanover, N.H.
