Officials discovered mold underneath a book case and four-foot square of carpet in the library on March 2, and found it was caused by an improperly installed clean out plug to a roof drain.
Superintendent Patrick Andrew wrote in his monthly report to the School Board that Eckman Construction, of Bedford, N.H., was hired to repair the damage.
The library was closed during construction, he said, and opened once tests this month showed it was safe for students. The library was part of the $21.5 million high school renovation project.
