Unity — School Board incumbent Craig Shute was narrowly defeated in Tuesday’s election, 47-44, by Marjorie Erickson, in the only contested race on the school and town ballot.

Voters also approved an ordinance to grant conditional use permits to allow accessory dwelling units in accordance with certain restrictions, 59-38.

Town Meeting continues on Saturday with the business portion beginning at noon a Town Hall. The business portion of the school meeting is scheduled for noon on March 25, also at Town Hall.
