Melissa was employed at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center as a clinical secretary in the Orthopedic Call Center.
Melissa was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Allen and Charlotte Morris; her uncle, Paul Honiker; her aunt and godmother, Jane Morris; and cousin, Sean Hendrix.
She is survived by her parents; paternal grandparents, Richard and Elaine Danyow; sister, Nicole Danyow, Nicole’s fiancé, Joe Harlow; a nephew, Christopher; and nieces, Jenna and Keira; her fiancé, Joe Szelangawski and his sons, Matthew and Blake who she loved very much; also Danielle Storti, April Young, Cory Clang, many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
Melissa was a girly girl who loved being an aunt, the beach, music, her beloved cats, reading, and was strong in her faith. She treasured the time she spent with her soon to be stepsons Matthew and Blake, and many family and friends. Melissa had a beautiful smile that brightened the darkest days and lit up any room. She was an overwhelming kind and gentle soul.
Family and friends are invited to Melissa’s memorial calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A prayer service will begin at 3 pm followed by a reception held at Methodist Church in Enfield.
