Enfield, N.H. — Sally Ann (Robinson) Cross, 81, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017.

Born July 23, 1935, in Quincy, Mass., she was the daughter of Pauline (Davis) and Byron Alden Robinson. She spent many of her childhood years living between Milton, Mass. and Lebanon, N.H.

After graduating from Boston University, Sally married her high school sweetheart Henry, worked in Boston, and then became a stay-at-home mom to raise their three girls.

With her husband, she followed her heart and family roots back to Enfield by purchasing their summer home in the late 60’s where they later retired, after residing in Milton, Mass. and Merrimack, N.H.

Sally and Henry (with others) spent countless hours developing and maintaining the Enfield Veterans Memorial Park. She enjoyed travelling, knitting, cross-stitch, and bingo. But most important to her was the time she spent with her family and friends.

Sally was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by her family and those who knew and loved her, but her spirit will live on in us all forever.

She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, her parents and her sister Susan.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Clark of Enfield, Sandra (William) Quigley of Purcellville, Va. and Linda Cross (Tom Gardner) of Lebanon, N.H.; grandchildren and their families: Nathan Clark (Ashlea), Marissa Ignacio (John), Cory Keane and Jessica Keane; and great-grandchildren, Johnny and Irissa Ignacio.

In Sally’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choosing.

At her request, private services will be held at a later date.
