Spokane, Wash. — Nigel Williams-Goss had 18 points and seven assists as No. 1 Gonzaga beat Pacific 82-61 on Saturday to remain the only undefeated team in Division I.

Johnathan Williams had 12 points and 11 rebounds, and five players scored in double figures for Gonzaga (28-0, 16-0 West Coast), whose 28-game winning streak is the longest in the nation.

Jack Williams scored 16 points for Pacific (10-19, 4-12), which played Gonzaga tough at home on New Year’s Eve. Pacific played without second-leading scorer T.J. Wallace, out with a foot injury.

No. 2 Villanova 92Seton Hall 70

Newark, n.j. — Jalen Brunson had 22 points and a career-high 10 assists and Villanova clinched a tie for an unprecedented fourth straight Big East Conference regular-season title.

The Wildcats (26-2, 13-2) used a 22-1 spurt bridging the halves to take command in winning their seventh straight game and handing Seton Hall (16-10, 6-8) a lopsided loss that leaves it on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament.

No. 3 Kansas 67No. 4 Baylor 65

Waco, Texas — Landen Lucas made two free throws with 11 seconds left and Kansas grabbed a stranglehold on the Big 12 race.

The Jayhawks (24-3, 12-2) have a three-game lead in the Big 12 standings over Baylor with four games to play. With one more win, Kansas will match the UCLA teams of the 1960s and ‘70s by winning its 13th consecutive conference championship.

Baylor (22-5, 9-5) had one more chance, but Manu Lecomte missed on a shot he took surrounded by defenders.

No. 7 Oregon 101, Colorado 73

Eugene, Ore. — Dillon Brooks scored 23 points for Oregon.

Dylan Ennis added 20 points for the Ducks (24-4, 13-2 Pac-12), who won their 42nd straight home game. It is the longest active home winning streak in the nation.

No. 8 Louisville 94, Va. Tech 90

Louisville, Ky. — Donovan Mitchell scored 26 points to lead Louisville.

Ty Outlaw hit a 3-pointer with 8 seconds left to cut Louisville’s lead to 91-88, but the Hokies’ Zach LeDay committed an intentional foul on Louisville as the Cardinals (22-5, 10-4 ACC) tried to inbound the ball. Jaylen Johnson made one of the two free throws, then Mitchell made two more with 5.6 seconds left to seal the offensive slugfest.

Morgantown, W.Va. — Jevon Carter scored a season-high 24 points to lead West Virginia.

West Virginia (21-6, 9-5 Big 12) let a late lead slip away and was forced to play overtime for the second straight game.

Carter scored a quick layup in the second overtime and West Virginia outscored Texas Tech 13-4 in the period.

Durham, n.c. — Luke Kennard scored 23 points and Jayson Tatum added 19 for Duke.

Amile Jefferson had 16 points for the Blue Devils (22-5, 10-4 ACC), who shot 59 percent and hit 13 3-pointers while winning their seventh straight.

No. 13 Kentucky 82, Georgia 77

Athens, Ga. — De’Aaron Fox scored 16 points, including six free throws in the final 45 seconds, and Kentucky (22-5, 12-2 SEC) overcame J.J. Frazier’s 36 points to beat Georgia.

Frazier’s season-high effort helped keep Georgia close after the Bulldogs lost top scorer Yante Maten with a right knee injury less than two minutes into the game.

Starkville, Miss. — Chris Chiozza scored 14 points and KeVaughn Allen added 11 for Florida.

Florida (22-5, 12-2 SEC) extended its winning streak to eight games, which is the longest under second-year coach Mike White. The Gators also won their first game since starting center John Egbunu suffered a season-ending knee injury.

West Lafayette, Ind. — Caleb Swanigan had 24 points and 15 rebounds, and Isaac Haas scored 18 points for Purdue.

With the victory, the Boilermakers (22-5, 11-3) take a half-game lead over Maryland and Wisconsin in the Big Ten standings.

Pittsburgh — Senior Sheldon Jeter scored a career-high 29 points for Pittsburgh.

Jeter, who averages 7.6 points per game, had eight rebounds. Four of his 12 field goals were 3-pointers as the 6-foot-8 forward showed his range.

Xavier Rathan-Mayes had 12 points for Florida State (21-6, 9-5).

No. 18 Cincinnati 80, Tulsa 60

Cincinnati — Jacob Evans III scored 13 of his 17 points while Cincinnati took control in the first half.

Cincinnati (24-3, 13-1 American Athletic) has won 24 straight on its home court.

Kyle Washington added 18 points for Cincinnati while Gary Clark had 14 points and eight rebounds.

No. 19 SMU 76, Houston 66

Houston — Semi Ojeleye had 18 of his 22 points in the second half for SMU (24-4, 14-1 American).

Ojeleye also had nine rebounds, Ben Moore added 18 points and 13 rebounds, and Sterling Brown had 16 points. The Mustangs have won 10 straight.

No. 25 Notre Dame 81 N.C. State 72

Raleigh, n.c. — V.J. Beachem scored 27 points and hit a career-high seven 3-pointers for Notre Dame in North Carolina State’s first game since the announcement that coach Mark Gottfried is out after the season.

Bonzie Colson added 13 points for the Fighting Irish (21-7, 10-5 ACC), who kept themselves in the middle of a crowded race for a top-four finish that would secure a double-round bye in the ACC Tournament.

Princeton 66, Brown 51

Providence, r.i. — Steven Cook hit four 3-pointers and finished with 17 points, Amir Bell scored 13 on 5-of-8 shooting and Princeton beat Brown for its 13th consecutive win.

Pete Miller made all four of his field-goal attempts and added 10 points for Princeton (17-6, 10-0 Ivy League).

Steven Spieth had 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists for Brown (11-15, 2-8), which has lost five straight. Tavon Blackmon added 11 points and Travis Fuller scored eight with nine rebounds.

Harvard 87, Cornell 75

Boston — Seth Towns scored a career best 21 points, Bryce Aiken added 17 and four players reached double figures as Harvard defeated Cornell.

The two freshmen combined for 12 of Harvard’s 27 baskets and six of its seven 3-pointers.

Zena Edosomwan added 14 points and Chris Lewis 10 for the Crimson (16-7, 8-2 Ivy League) who shot 50 percent (27 of 54) to win four straight since losing by a point to Ivy-leading Princeton. The rematch is at Princeton March 3.

UNH 82, Hartford 52

Durham, n.h. — Jalen Smith scored 19 points with 11 rebounds, Tanner Leissner added 15 points and New Hampshire rolled over Hartford.

Daniel Dion added 14 points and Jordan Reed 10 for the Wildcats (17-11, 8-6 America East), who have won three straight.

New Hampshire used an 18-0 run midway through the first half to take a 21-13 lead and closed with a 14-1 run to make it 43-23. The lead was never below 20 in the second half.
