Lebanon, N.H.  — George Iskandar, 46, of Lebanon, N.H., died unexpectedly on Jan. 27, 2017 following a long battle with addiction. George was born in Madison, Wis. on Jan. 19, 1971. George was the son of Alex Iskandar of Lebanon, N.H. and Marcelle Adib of Atlanta, Ga. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1989 where he played goalie on their hockey team. George loved his son and family, Saint Bernard dogs, and was a skilled tradesman who was well known in the community.

George is survived by his son, Alexander Iskandar, age 6 of Wilder, Vt.; mother, Marcelle Adib of Atlanta, Ga.; father and step-mother, Alex and Bonnie Iskandar of Lebanon, N.H.; his sister and her husband, Niveen and Mike Vosler of Atlanta, Ga.; half-sister, Amy Iskandar Margolis of Lebanon, N.H.; his step-brothers, Tony Palmerston of Savannah, Ga. and Bruce and Tammy Palmerston of Dade City, Fla. He also is survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins in the US and Egypt.

Calling hours will be on Monday, Feb. 6 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Ricker Funeral Home.
