The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lorilee and Thomas Newman, of Portland, Maine. She graduated from Portland High School in 2006 and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., in 2010. She earned a master’s degree in nursing from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass., in 2013 and is employed as a family nurse practitioner at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center in East Boston, Mass.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Cathie and Ned Redpath, of Norwich. He graduated from Hanover High School in 2005 and earned a bachelor’s degree in European history from Wesleyan University in 2010 and a master’s degree in social studies from the university in 2015. He is employed as a high school history instructor and the varsity soccer head coach at St. Sebastian’s School in Needham, Mass.
The couple live in Boston and plan an August wedding in Portland.
