Opal, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society

“Hi, my name is Opal! I am a beautiful 1-year-old girl looking for my forever home. I am very smart and I like to show it off. I need an active home with plenty of space to run around and play. I’d love to learn agility with you!

“I also need to keep my brain busy, so please give me lots to do. I’m no couch potato —I love to be on the go. If you’re looking for a fun, active, smart lady, I’m just the gem for you.”

Opal is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.

Robin, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society

“Hi! My name’s Robin and I’m a 3-year-old neutered male mixed breed dog that came to Lucy Mackenzie as a stray. Life hasn’t always been easy for me, but I’m looking forward to starting over in my new home. I’m a fun-loving active fella that has tons of potential, and lots of love to give.

“Since I’ve been here, we’ve spent lots of time working on basic behaviors, like how to walk on a leash, sit and stay. My hard work has paid off and I’ve come such a long way.

“I’d be the only animal in my ideal home, and my human would be committed toward continuing my training with me. All I really need in life is a second chance.

“If you’ve been looking for a new best friend, stop in and meet me today!”

Robin is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.
