Harvard (10-5, 2-0 Ivy League) shot 53.3 percent in the second half.
Guilien Smith (18 points) and Evan Boudreaux (15) combined for nearly half of the Big Green’s points, while senior Wesley Dickinson (12) and freshman Brendan Barry (10) also reached double figures for Dartmouth.
The Big Green fell behind early but finished the first half on an 18-5 run to lead by one, 35-34, at halftime.
Dartmouth shot 8-of-9 at the free-throw line and held a 21-12 rebounding advantage in the first half.
The Big Green led, 43-42, in the second half, but the Crimson responded with a 15-4 run and controled the game from there.
The Big Green begin Friday-Saturday action in the Ivy League next weekend when they travel to Columbia and Cornell.
Brown 4, Dartmouth 3 (OT)

Dartmouth jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first on goals from freshman Ryan Blankemeier followed by Troy Crema on the power play. Brown outshot Dartmouth in the second stanza, 13-4, scoring on goals by Davey Middleton and Max Willman.
The Bears took the lead just 44 seconds into the third on Brent Beaudoin’s marker, but Crema tied it for the Big Green with just 1:33 left in regulation.
Devin Buffalo made 30 saves for the Big Green, and Gavin Nietro made 28 for the Bears.
Dartmouth heads out on the road for two weeks, starting with games at Colgate and Cornell next weekend.

“I thought our team played well defensively, but we need to find a way to bury pucks,” head coach Laura Schuler said. “We can’t win games without scoring goals, so our goal going forward is to work on creating offense.”
Robyn Chemago finished with 30 saves in the Dartmouth net. The Big Green hosts Cornell and Colgate next weekend.

Dartmouth Wins SLU Carnival

Big Green junior Callan DeLine ripped through the men’s 10K freestyle in 26 minutes, 59.6 seconds, followed by teammates Fabian Stocek (27:16.3) and Luke Brown (27:55.9).
In the women’s 5K freestyle, sophomore Lydia Blanchet beat out Vermont’s Alayna Sonnesyn by a little more than two seconds, posting a time of 14:43.7 for the win.
Brian McLaughlin won the men’s slalom for Dartmouth, while Alexa Dlouhy’s second-place result in the women’s race helped complete the carnival win. The Big Green visits the UNH carnival next.
Rothwell Adds to Records

Rothwell won the the 60-meter dash (7.45 seconds) and long jump (19 feet, 9 inches) — breaking her own mark in the latter — while also taking the 60 hurdles (8.54). Dartmouth finished with 96 team points, more than double that of the host Lions.
On the men’s side, Miles Irish (4:10.09) edged teammates Dominic Carrese (4:10.22) and Quinn Cooney (4:10.96) to win the mile and highlight Dartmouth’s 89-point effort, topping Yale’s 70.
