Amber, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society

“I am 2-year-old Amber. My mom lost her home and moved me and her other cat, Foxy, around for a while from place to place. But sadly, in the end she could not keep us.

“I came to the humane society in pretty rough shape with a lot of hair missing and very, very skinny. I was also very shy. Here, I have gotten a lot of love and attention — and food — and I am blossoming. I am very sweet and love to rub against people’s hands.

“I am fine with other cats but do not need to be adopted with Foxy as she is mean to me at times. I really want a forever, stable home where I can shower my new mom or dad with lots of love!”

Amber is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.

Sweetie, adoptable from the Upper Valley Humane Society

Sweetie is a beautiful 14-year-old brown tabby. Like her name suggests, she is sweet and gentle, and she’s super smart. She’s pretty laid back and doesn’t mind being handled.

Sweetie would like a nice, quite home to retire to, with some sunny windows she can lay in front of. Sweetie would like her new home to be feline-free, since she’s not fond of being around other cats.

If you’d like a wonderful senior kitty, come in to meet Sweetie!

Sweetie is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.

Oliver, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society

“Hi! My name’s Oliver and I’m a 10-year-old neutered male. I was adopted years ago from Lucy Mackenzie with two of my friends, Kit and Polly. We were returned when our owner’s lives changed and they could no longer care for us.

“Kit and Polly have been adopted, and I’m really happy for them! They’re very nice cats. Now, I can focus all my efforts on finding the perfect home for me.

“I’m a loving, attentive cat that will easily make you feel like the most important person in the world. Despite my big, spectacular size, I’m a sensitive guy and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve been told it makes me more lovable.

“So, if you have room in your home and heart for an incredibly deserving and special boy, stop in and meet me today!”

Oliver is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.
