“It was our best game of the season,” said Lebanon coach Tim Kehoe, whose team faces Con-Val at 5 p.m. today in the event’s consolation game. “Bedford’s undefeated but we controlled the tempo and commanded the boards. We had 23 more rebounds than they did.”
Lebanon (5-1) has lost starting guard Meredith Melendy for the season to a torn knee ligament.Another backcourt standout, Maddie Hastings, is out this week with an injured back. Josie Brown (six points), Leah Mayes and Zoe Soule handled the ball against Bedford.

“We were in the game until deep into the third quarter,” Hanover coach Dan O’Rourke said. “It was a much more physical game that we’re used to.”
Hanover, which trailed, 34-23, at halftime, also received 12 points from Diana Schwarz and eight from Julia Golder. The Marauders (2-2) face continue the tournament today against Hollis Brookline.
Windsor
Windsor’s Ashleay Wilcox had 12 points and Anika Abrahamsen had nine. Olivia Rockwood chipped in with 11 points for the hosts.
“We didn’t play real well and (Thetford) moved the ball around quite a bit,” said Yellowjackets coach Bruce Mackay, whose team next plays Tuesday at Springfield. “We had trouble making shots but we got within two points twice in the fourth quarter.”
Hanover
“We led with six minutes to go but they did a nice job of taking care of the ball and made some big shots,” said Hanover coach Tim Winslow, whose team received 15 points each from Benny Gantrish and Caleb Putnam. Charlie Adams had 10 points and Mike Staiger had eight for the hosts.
The Marauders (0-3) play Mascoma at 7 p.m. tonight in further tournament action.
West Rutland, Vt.
“A lot of these guys were not on the floor last year,” Sharon coach Blake Fabrikant said. “It’s kind of a transition period for us. But we’re getting more confident. This was a quality win tonight.”
The Kelleys combined for 29 points. Sam Knoerlein added 12 points.
The Phoenix managed only four points in the first quarter, but outscored West Rutland 31-22 in the second half to secure the win. Fisher Kelley hit six of seven free throws down the stretch.
Sharon travels to Chelsea on Monday.

“It was a very tight first half, although not pretty by any stretch of the imagination,” South Royalton coach Pete Howe said. “Thetford is very athletic, but we took advantage of their intense man-to-man defense and just drove to the basket a lot.”
The Royals (3-0) are scheduled to visit Hazen on Friday night. Thetford (1-4), which committed 24 turnovers and received nine points from Connor Brown, hosts Rivendell on Thursday.

“Owen can really jump,” said Rivendell coach Jeff Huntington, whose team received 14 points from Noah Martell. “I think he’ll adjust fine.”
Huntington said the Olympians’ second-half press caused his team to repeatedly turn the ball over and surrender a lead it had held at halftime. Ben Emerson had 17 points and Matt Towle had 14 for Oxbow. (2-2).
The Raptors (1-2) visit Thetford on Thursday and the Olympians travel to Blue Mountain on Friday.
