Meriden, Conn. — Ann R. Brisson, age 86, died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Ann, daughter of Rudolph and Julia Gode, was raised in Cheshire, Conn., and later married Richard Brisson (Chef Rene; deceased) before moving to Grafton, N.H. After losing their N.H. home to a fire in 2000, Richard and Ann moved back to Cheshire.

She is survived by her sister, Judith Wolfe of Jupiter, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Kathy Ewings of Cheshire, Stephen Gode of North Haven, Conn., Laura Gasparini of Canaan, N.H., Gunnar Dickson and David Wolfe of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Thomas Wolfe of Oakland Park, Fla., and Christopher Wolfe of Jupiter; as well as many cousins, great-nieces and nephews.

Ann enjoyed gardening, bird-watching, martinis, and her many beloved golden retrievers that she shared her life with.
