Hanover, N.H. —
Cherie will be deeply missed by all who knew her and is survived by her four loving children, Ryan, Alexandra, Amy and Samantha; her former husband, Michael; her sister, Linda Santoro; her parents, Robert and Margaret Konkol; and her two Great Danes, Bella and Bentley.
Cherie spent many years working in the travel industry and was a frequent traveler herself. She particularly enjoyed cruises, having sailed on dozens of cruise ships with friends and family over the years. She was also an avid animal lover and advocate.
Cherie lived in Hanover for more than 12 years. She is well known for originating a beloved Halloween celebration for the community, which, from 2003 to 2015, attracted thousands of Hanover residents and visitors to the Paquette home annually. She also devoted countless hours to her children’s independent middle school, Crossroads Academy in Lyme, N.H.
A private memorial service celebrating Cherie’s life will be held in Hanover later this month.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of her daughters to the American Diabetes Association.
