Joey, adoptable from the Upper Valley Humane Society
Joey is a sweet and gentle young adult rabbit. He is inquisitive and smart and uses his litter box perfectly.
Joey may seem very content where he is but those of us who know him well know that poor Joey is a very lonely bun. Rabbits are very social herd animals by nature.
Although the staff and volunteers do everything they can for him, nothing compares to the fulfilling feeling of a home and family of his own. Please help Joey find a home for the holidays!
Joey is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.

Puggy, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society
“I am 8-year-old Puggy and I am hoping I find the purr-fect home soon. I am a declawed girl who is quite pretty.
“I was surrendered when my dad died. His family tried to keep me but their dogs were very mean to me. I have had a rough last few months and am feeling very unsettled.
“To make matters worse, I do not like other cats so I am not happy at the humane society. I can be sweet but the stress of the other cats makes me lash out and therefore I do not ‘show’ well.
“I just want a home where I can be your one and only. In addition to getting vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped, the humane society also got my teeth cleaned and had the bad ones pulled so I am all set and ready for my new family.
“If you are a cat savvy person that can give me an only pet home, please come meet me!”
Puggy is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.

Dakota, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society
“Hi! My name’s Dakota and I’m a neutered male Husky/Lab Mix that’s not even a year old.
“I was adopted from Lucy Mackenzie when I was a little puppy and recently returned when my adopter’s health issues made it difficult for her to care for me. I was very sad at first, but now I’m excited to find my new family!
“I love to be outside and playing, and I think snow is the greatest thing. My perfect human would be an active individual and one that would be willing to continue my training with me.
“I’ve learned lots of things since being here, like how to be patient and how not to jump. I think I’m definitely getting the hang of things.
“If you’ve been thinking of adopting a new canine companion to call your very own, stop in and meet me today!”
Dakota is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.
