Dartmouth’s lone goal came from freshman Cam Strong in the second period. Strong buried his team-leading fourth tally of the season at the 11:10 mark to tie the game at 1, with assists going to Carl Hesler and River Rymsha.
SLU answered back 1:22 later as Jacob Pritchard found the back of the net at the other end of the ice.
Canaan native Gavin Bayreuther started St. Lawrence’s third-period outburst with a power-play goal on a blast from the point. Marnell added the final two goals to to cap the scoring.
Dartmouth goalie Devin Buffalo was responsible for all five goals against, making 22 saves before being lifted for the final 6:07 for freshman Adrian Clark, who stopped two shots.
St. Lawrence’s Kyle Hayton made 30 saves.
The visitors went 0-for-5 with the man-advantage, while the Saints scored twice on their five chances.
The Green finished the seven-game road trip with a 1-4-2 mark.
Dartmouth is back in action next Saturday night when it greets New Hampshire at Thompson Arena. The contest will serve as the annual Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Toy Drive collection game as fans are asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy to be delivered by the team.

Buckley’s goal was an empty-netter with 1:29 left before the Big Green’s Kennedy Ottenbreit scored with 40 seconds remaining to cut the Big Red’s lead to one.
Tess Bracken assisted on Ottenbreit’s goal.
Dartmouth goalie Robyn Chemago made 31 saves, while Big Red counterpart Marlene Boissonnault made 11.
The Big Red out-shot the Big Green, 33-12. Dartmouth went 0-for-3 on the power play, while Cornell was 1-for-5.
The Green greets Boston College on Wednesday.

Bell and sophomore Milani Hicks led six Chargers in double figures with 16 points apiece.
The Chargers host Husson on Friday in a rematch of last season’s NAC championship game.

Hamilton added seven assists and six rebounds for the Chargers. Teammate Lexi Iannone scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Lyndon was led by the conference’s leading scorer, Newbury, Vt., native Mikayla Hodge (13 points, nine rebounds and four blocks).

With the loss, the Big Green dropped to 0-2, while the Bantams improved to 5-0.

Teammates Caitlin Gaudet and Emily Ballou each scored twice, and Alice Dwyer added a goal. Gaudet, Dwyer and Morgan Pero each had two assists, and Ballou, Summer Parkhurst, Jasmine Wilson and Lauren Miller dished out one apiece.
Maggie Gilman made 10 saves in goal for the Hurricanes, who are off until Dec. 14, when they visit Stowe.

Duje Radja (16 points), Jordan Huntley (14), and Trent Noordsij (14) also reached double figures for the Wildcats.

The aptly named “2016-17 BU Season Opener” was a non-scoring meet that serves a good test for many of the Big Green’s freshmen and members of the team who do not participate during cross country season.
For the women, Folasade Akinfe won the long jump with a mark of 18 feet, 6.00 inches, while teammate Aliyah Gallup claimed the top spot in the 1,000 meters in 2:53.25, pacing an event that saw Dartmouth place four individuals in the top-10.
The Dartmouth men’s Myles Holt was the top collegiate runner in the 400, running a 49.65 to take second overall. Teammate Hendric Tronsson was second in the long jump with a distance of 23-3.25.
