George N. Sunn, Jr.

Lebanon, N.H. — George N. Sunn, Jr., 82, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016. He was born in Lebanon to the Late George N. & Helen (Kimball) Sunn, Sr. on March 21, 1934. George attended Lebanon Schools. On Sept. 29, 1955, George married Daisy E. (Gutherie). Together they raised their five children in Lebanon. George & Daisy loved to travel to Maine and experience new places and adventures, as well as spend time with their family. Over the years George had worked for the Block Plant, E. Cumming Tanery, Jackson Construction, APC construction and Local Union 668. He had belonged to the Lebanon Eagles Club and the Mascoma Club. He loved Christmas and enjoyed drawing, fishing, and woodworking.

He is survived by his five children, Craig Sunn, George N. Sunn III and wife, Susan, Elizabeth Sunn, Vicki Follansbee and husband, Peter, Shirley Packard and husband, Tim; two sisters, Beverly Talbert and Lillian Pillsbury; and a brother, Robert Sunn; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

George was predeceased by his wife Daisy; and three sisters, Beatrice Fish, Margaret Marcott & Shirley Maynard.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon.
