Fawcett —  Von Seekamm

Hanover — Rebecca S. and James N. Fawcett have announced the engagement of their daughter Katherine Sullivan Fawcett, of Hanover, to Kurt B. von Seekamm Jr., of Salem, Mass.

The bride-to-be graduated from Hanover High School in 2007 and earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., in 2011. She is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and was previously employed as the marketing automation manager for join.me and LastPass at LogMeIn in Boston.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Nancy Ehret and Kurt B. von Seekamm, of Wyckoff and Cape May, N.J., and Sewall’s Point, Fla. He graduated from Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, N.J., in 2005 and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College in 2009. He earned a doctorate in economics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass., in 2016 and is employed as an economics instructor at Salem State University in Salem, Mass.

The couple plan a June 2017 wedding.
