Freshman John Thibault led the way with three touchdowns, including a 45-yard scoring run on the Tigers’ first play from scrimmage. Newport built a 35-0 lead by halftime and was up, 42-0, after the first series of the second half. The Tigers host Monadnock (6-0) on Saturday.
“I think the offensive line opened up some really good holes and gave the running backs some good holes to run through. We were able to get some good yardage,” Newport coach Rich Boone said.
Cam Ackerman, Tyler Sharron and Dylan McNamara each added touchdown runs for the Tigers (4-2).
Newport made its share of big plays on defense, including a pair of fumble recoveries by tackle Tyler Hall. Cornerback Ty Richardson had an interception and lineman Peter Thibault played well, Boone said.
Mascoma (1-5) hosts Kearsarge on Saturday.
Bradford, Vt.
The Division III Olympians (3-4) lost that contest, 54-14, to a Division II opponent. Back competing in its own division, Oxbow played a mistake-free game.
“It’s something we emphasized. We can’t win games even in our own division doing that. I thought we did a good job eliminating that problem,” Oxbow coach Sean Murphy said.
Receiver Owen Pelletier and quarterback Noah Johnson connected on touchdown passes of 65, 60 and 50 yards. Johnson added touchdown runs of 45 yards and 1 yard. Jake Stimson had a 5-yard scoring run.
Windsor
Page was on the receiving end of a pair of scoring passes from quarterback Seth Balch and added a rushing touchdown. Hunter Patenaude and Hunter Judd each had a touchdown run.
The victory improved the Jacks to 7-0 in advance of Friday night’s matchup at neighboring rival Woodstock (7-0).
Coach Greg Balch praised the defensive work of linemen Caleb Harrington, Ben Meagher and Gavin Harriman and cornerback Zach McLeod for their work in limiting the Missisquoi ground attack.
“They’re a run-oriented team,” Balch said. “We did a decent job controlling the line of scrimmage.”
It was senior day for Windsor. The Jacks will graduate co-captains Patenaude and Harrington along with McLeod, Judd, Tanner Wright, Josh Griep and Kylor Lato.

Cardinals quarterback Henri Bourque found Parker Smith for a 51-yard touchdown pass, and Bourque also ran 29 yards for a score.
Stevens (5-1) hosts Fall Mountain on Friday.
Lebanon
Ryan Milliken ran for touchdowns of 60 and 55 yards in a rematch of a 2015 NHIAA Division II playoff game, also won by the Jaguars. Quarterback Caleb Broughton found Nate Perkins for a 30-yard touchdown for the Raiders’ other score.
Lebanon visits Plymouth on Saturday.
Northfield, Vt.
The play began with a Northfield corner and 50 seconds to play. Thetford headed the kick out to Erik Lindhal, who sent it up to Brown on the right wing. An 18-yard shot set off the Panthers’ celebration.
Brown scored just after halftime to give Thetford a 3-1 lead, only to see the Marauders answer eight minutes later on a free kick and score an equalizer in the 70th minute.
Anthony Stoffel made nine saves and Jackson Hall also scored for Thetford (8-3-1). Nick Moses added a pair of assists and Dylan Thorburn had one. Brown’s hat trick gives the senior forward a team-high 18 goals.
Hanover
Adams scored midway through the first half on an assist from Liam Collins for his team-high ninth goal of the season. Adams then fed Henry Kahl for another goal to pick up his team-best 10th assist. Kahl added another tally on a header of an Adam Pikelny crossing pass six minutes later.
Patrick Logan made a pair of diving saves to rob Alvirne striker D.J. Lamothe and earned his sixth shutout.

Luke Sandmann had two assists and Owen Johnstone had one for the Raiders (13-1), who took all nine of the game’s corner kicks.

Elsa Pierson had eight kills, Meg Frederick had six kills and two aces and Abi Downey had three aces on 21 serves and seven kills for Sunapee, which visits Mascoma on Monday.

William Douglas finished fourth at 19:20, followed by Keelan Durham in eighth at 19:56. Willy Moreno took 12th in 20:13. The Olympians also had Tim Rudder in 25th, Tim Hodges in 26th, Aidan Bowles in 27th, Briggs Heffernan in 45th and Tyrus Rosten in 55th.
The second-place Oxbow girls claimed two of the top three finishes. Izzy Giesing was second in 21:29, Hannah Giesing took third in 21:58 and Emily Carson was 11th. Cassidy Pryer was 18th and Alex Giesing 23rd.
