Hanover — It didn’t take the Hanover High boys soccer team long to get back on track following just its second loss of the season.

A 6-0 victory over Dover on Thursday featured three Liam Collins assists, Ben Sobel’s first varsity goal and five other Marauders scorers. Hanover improved to 12-2 after Tuesday’s loss to Timberlane.

Hanover coach Rob Grabill sat his starters after the initial 10 minutes against the Green Wave (0-12-1). Jake Acker, Charlie Adams, Alvaro Cooper, Sobel, Elias Zinman and Bauti Gallino had goals.

Griffin Johnson, Casey Starr and Sander Macaulay added assists and goalkeeper Patrick Logan earned his fifth shutout behind a back four of Lucas Adams-Blackmore, Roger Danilek, Simon Kahan and Ben Parrado.

The Marauders host Alvrine on Saturday at noon.

Whitcomb-Rochester 2Randolph 0

Bethel — Ambrose Wigglesworth scored during each half and the Mountaineers (8-3-1) stayed unbeaten in their last six games.

Zak Gillette added an assist for Whitchester, which had a 24-4 advantage in shots. Isaac Hodgdon made a pair of saves for the Mountaineers, who visit Rivendell on Saturday.

Rivendell 7, S. Royalton 1

Orford — Robert Bergwedel scored four times and the Raptors (6-4) won their third consecutive contest. The Royals slipped to 6-5.

Collin Gould had a penalty-kick goal and an assist and Lucas DeSouza and Wyatt Guillette had one goal each for Rivendell, which led 2-0 at halftime.

Kyle Gelenian, Wiatt Suich, Johnny Vogelien and Chris Gendron added assists for Rivendell and Dashiel Fukushima made 12 saves.

Ryan Jones scored for South Royalton, which started Jayson Perron in goal. Perron was injured with about 10 minutes to play, forcing forward Nicholas Howe to finish the game in net.

The Raptors host Whitcomb-Rochester on Saturday.

The Royals host Chelsea on Tuesday.

Woodsville 7, Groveton 3

Groveton, n.h. — The visiting Engineers trailed 3-1 at halftime before rallying past the Purple Eagles.

“We just didn’t come in ready to play,” Woodsville coach Mike Ackerman said.

“They were beating us to almost every ball.”

Antonio Houde had four goals, Garrett Olsen had a goal and three assists, Adam Cataldo notched a goal and two assists and Brandon Brown scored once for Woodsville (11-3).

Cooper Davidson made 10 saves for the Engineers, who host Profile on Tuesday.

Girls Soccer Mill River 2, Woodstock 1

Woodstock — The host Wasps received a Rosalie Geiger goal with three minutes remaining and off an Anna Dieffenbach assist.

Brittney Poljacik made 15 saves for Woodstock, which hosts Burr & Burton on Tuesday evening.

Hanover 0, Windham 0

Windham, n.h. — The Marauders took 12 of the game’s 15 shots, but nothing was resolved during the 100-minute makeup of a game originally scheduled for earlier in the season.

“We didn’t do a good job creating opportunities, just didn’t quite have the scoring touch,” Hanover coach Doug Kennedy said.

Mahler Meyerrose made three saves for Hanover (10-3-1), which visits Plymouth on Wednesday.

Hartford 3, Springfield 0

White River Junction — Kaylee Williams, Belle Leister and Lyndsie Rice had goals for the Hurricanes, who were scoreless while going 0-2-2 during their previous four games.

Morgan White made four saves for Hartford (5-3-4), which visits Fair Haven on Tuesday.

Woodsville 8, Groveton 2

Groveton, n.h. — Suzy Bazzell had four goals and an assist as the Engineers improved to 6-7-1.

Astra Sleeper added two goals, Maud McIntyre had a goal and an assist and Kera Butson scored once for Woodsville, which rebounded from Wednesday’s double-overtime loss at Littleton.

Jasmine Smith added an assist for Woodsville, which hosts Profile on Tuesday.

Randolph 3Whitcomb-Rochester 2

Randolph — Emma Gillette and Sammy Barcomb scored for Whitchester (6-6), with Brianna Hillier assisting on Gillette’s tally.

Krista Townsend made 13 saves for the Mountaineers, who host South Royalton in Rochester on Saturday.
