The bride and bridegroom were attended by their brothers, Benjamin Boyd Grant and Marc Lubienska-Steele. After the ceremony, the couple took the subway to Brooklyn for a wedding picnic held on the rooftop of the bridegroom’s brother’s apartment building. The bridegroom’s brother and sister-in-law decorated the rooftop. The bridegroom cooked and the bride created a playlist for the celebration, which was attended by the couple’s parents and siblings. The couple also baked their own wedding cake.
The bride is the daughter of Gabriella Maria Lubienska-Steele and Robert Arthur Steele, of Wilmington, Del. She graduaetd from Archmere Academy in Claymont, Del., in 2004 and earned a bachelor’s degree in theater from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., in 2008. She works as an actor based in New York City.
The bridegroom is the son of Nancy Boyd Grant and David N.W. Grant, of Strafford. He graduated from Newark Academy in Livingston, N.J., in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in theater and dance from Princeton University in Princeton, N.J., in 2008. He earned a master’s degree in acting from Yale University in New Haven, Conn., in 2013 and works as an actor based in New York City. He will play the title role in the upcoming Northern Stage production of Macbeth.
The couple honeymooned in Vieques, Puerto Rico, and live in Queens, N.Y.
